After retiring in 2002 from a job of 31 years, Susan started long-arm quilting and set up a small shop in the basement of her home. Shortly after, in July 2003, Susan & Jim decided to open a quilt shop in downtown Rochester.

     In 2008, we added online shopping! We are very excited to offer this feature and we ship all over the world! We are always adding new items, so check back often! Shop online 24/7!

      Susan and Ann run the shop & are both published authors! Ann has appeared on the Fons & Porter show, written articles for Quilter's Home
magazine & has appeared in local publications and events. Watch her quilting videos on Stitches.tv!

     The Quilting Cupboard, LLC, a brick and mortar quilt shop located in Rochester, MN was established in July 2003. Owners Susan & Jim Kisro along with their daughter, Ann, each play a part in running the shop.

      After being located downtown for the first two
years, we decided to move one mile north. There is more room & plenty of free front door parking at the new location! We are in the newly remodeled River Center Plaza, right along the river's edge.

      Need inspiration? Get your creativity flowing through our beautiful fabrics and inspiring kits! Visit our shop and take a peaceful walk on a beautiful day along the river...or grab some food and enjoy it at one of the picnic tables located along the path.
